Minecraft has earned $80M to date, approached by Hollywood for TV
According to the Financial Times, according to the financials filed by Minecraft developer/publisher Mojang, the massively multiplayer building game has earned over $80M in revenue, thanks to over 5M paid downloads.

Microsoft and Mojang are bringing Minecraft, the little indie that could, to Xbox Live Arcade. They say they've "done a lot of work under the hood." All-in-all it's the same experience.
