Australian gamers will finally get to play Mortal Kombat as the Komplete Edition received a not-unexpected R18+ mature rating from the ratings board.

Mortal Kombat was released last year in February, so it had a snowball's chance in Hades of being released in Australia at the time. Warner Bros has announced that it will be submitting Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition to the Australian Classification Board, now that the country has established its R18+ mature rating.

It seems Warner Bros. Interactive will continue to milk Ed Boon's gory fighting series Mortal Kombat as much as possible. The British ratings board, the BBFC, has revealed a videogame titled Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition, which has a 17th February, 2012 release date.
