Releasing today for Xbox Live Arcade is Burnout Crash! and Rotastic for 800 MSP a piece, while Fallout: New Vegas - Lonesome Road launched yesterday.

As did the NBA 2K12 demo for Xbox 360. Resident Evil 4 and Star Wars: The Force Unleashed 2 join Games on Demand, as will Crysis 2 Sept. 27th.

2K Sports has announced in a press release that the demo for NBA 2K12 is now available on Xbox Live Marketplace and PlayStation Network, despite the lockout that has been on for the past three months and threatens to wipe out the 2011-2012 NBA season.

Basketball Hall of Famer Michael Jordan opens the debate on the greatest NBA team in history. His preferences are all his Bulls teams - of course - but he challenges you to pick another NBA great team in a video contest.

How? The contest has you picking the team you think is the greatest ever, then posting a video of yourself explaining why on YouTube. The best videos will be selected to be in an NBA 2K12 commercial.

Grand Theft Auto franchise ships over 114m, GTA IV now at 22m

Take-Two head Strauss Zelnick revealed that overall the Grand Theft Auto franchise has shipped a huge 114 million copies to retailers during its lifetime.

Grand Theft Auto IV has cleared 22 million of that grand total. CEO Zelnick also gave away some other key title numbers, although L.A. Noire is missing.

NBA Elite 11 had some strange glitches.[/img]Electronic Arts canceled NBA Elite 11, which was the series reboot of the declining NBA Live series. It was to be bundled with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 version of NBA Jam. However, the game was quickly recalled one week after a disastrous launch, and the series was shelved. Since then, there's been no competitor for 2K Sports' NBA 2K series, after Sony's first party b-ball game, NBA XX: The Life was also shuttered on the PlayStation 3.
