There's a good 12 minutes worth of gameplay footage captured during Hideo Kojima's Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain demonstration at the Tokyo Game Show. It took place at Sony's PlayStation booth.

It shows off a good slice of Snake doing what he does best, although it's a little noisy with Kojima-san and others talking over the demo. If you need busting out a camp, Snake's your guy.

Hideo Kojima admits his planned Metal Gear Solid 5 demo for the Tokyo Game Show might have to end prematurely because of the 'unpredictable AI' causing problems for those showcasing it.

If the enemy 'find him' during the presentation it "may not be possible to complete" the walkthrough demo, which he describes as "100% more difficult." It's not their booth.

Hideo Kojima has announced on Twitter that he has been instructing his character artist to make a new sniper as "erotic" as possible for Metal Gear Solid 5, in part to inspire cosplayers. The sex of the sniper hasn't been identified yet.

Cosplaying is big business these days and getting your character just right is the difference between rank amateur and full on fanatic. Hideo Kojima will be fully unveiling Quiet, who was teased in the E3 trailer.

She joins the MGS 5 roster. Kojima-san decided to fully reveal her CG model to help out the throngs of cosplayers desperate for more MGS in their wardrobe.

Producer Avi Arad, known to have brought comic book universes to film successfully, is involved in the adaptations of Uncharted, Metal Gear and Mass Effect. He's got a real good feeling about Nathan Drake.

The "father and son" dynamic in Naughty Dog's Uncharted could give it a "shot at being the first" successful game-to-film project. Metal Gear flick is 3 years away, with Mass Effect about 5 years.
