Think you're handy with art? In the finale to the Metal Gear 25th Anniversary celebrations Konami has gone live with a "ground-breaking new art scheme," devised by lead artist Yoji Shinkawa.

Starting today, artistic fans will have access to the "same tools" Shinkawa-san favours when creating new Metal Gear wonders to feast your eyes on. Ready those digital brushes, pens and pencils!

Hideo Kojima has revealed just what "Project Ogre" is with The Phantom Pain with a trailer at the Spike Video Game Awards 2012, though this could be a working title for Metal Gear Solid 5.

Gamers were excited when apparent Metal Gear Solid 5 screenshots were leaked and a rumor sprung that Konami was going to make an announcement at San Diego Comic Con. However, series creator Hideo Kojima shot that rumor down on Twitter, calling the images fake.

Another Solid Snake adventure is in the works as creator Hideo Kojima just can't let him go. Metal Gear Solid 5 will be built using the new FOX engine, and he teases his like of Deus Ex.

The "female ninja public relations officer" kept him from saying too much. MGS: Revengeance "never claimed" to be a Solid. It's "a spinoff" trying something away from Solid Snake.

The fellows over at NeoGAF have spotted an interesting job listing on the official Japanese Konami site. According to the listing, Konami, or rather, "BIGBOSS", is looking for developers for the next MGS.
