2012 will see Assassin's Creed 3, Splinter Cell: Retribution, a new Brothers in Arms, Prince of Persia and Just Dance? Probably not as the alleged 'leaked schedule' is "inaccurate."

It shows gamers are "anxious to hear about" Ubisoft's line-up, and they're "thrilled and kind of amused" by it all. Sadly it's not true but we'll hear "directly" from Ubisoft soon for fiscal 2012-13.

The Prince of Persia Trilogy HD is exclusively releasing in Europe on Blu-ray disc for the PlayStation 3, but the individual titles will be on PSN also.

The Sands of Time, Two Thrones, and Warrior Within will be downloadable via the PlayStation Store. HD remakes of Splinter Cell in the works.

It's now official as Ubisoft announces the Prince of Persia Trilogy as a PlayStation 3 exclusive, and that it will only grace European retailers.

It includes PS2 POP classics The Sands of Time, Warrior Within and The Two Thrones on a single Blu-ray. All feature 720p visuals and 3D support.

Online retailer Zavvi has listed a 'Splinter Cell Trilogy: HD Collection' and a 'Prince Of Persia Trilogy: HD Collection' from Ubisoft for the PlayStation 3.

The Splinter Cell bundle is November 26th bound, while Prince of Persia's lot get a March 11th 2011 date. Sources say Ubi after their own "collections sku".

Figures crunched from the latest NPD report has some of 2010's hot properties well below sales expectations for their launch months at retail.

Remedy's Alan Wake didn't make 200k copies, and neither did Bizarre's racer Blur or Ubi's latest of Prince of Persia. Some other notable flops...
