Titanfall confirmed for VGX, "big surprises and news" from Respawn

Host Geoff Keighley for Spike VGX 2013 has confirmed that Respawn Entertainment's Titanfall will be present at next month's event. The PC and Xbox shooter will join "big surprises and news" from the studio.

Microsoft's Phil Spencer has already hinted that Remedy's Quantum Break might appear at VGX, and Square Enix seems to have something Tomb Raider related for fans.

There may be something more from Remedy's Quantum Break before the year is out as Microsoft's Phil Spencer believes they've got a "pretty good piece" that people would love to see, so he's twisting some ears.

We'll get to see the "full Remedy vision," teased Spencer, with a "pretty good description" of how the game works with new gameplay footage. He mulls a possible showing at December's VGX event.

GameTrailers' Geoff Keighley has heard from Microsoft's Phil Spencer that the corporate giant will be all games at E3 2013, which is something a lot were expecting from their Next Xbox event.

Their focus on a lot of TV and Kinect functionality with very little actual gaming was quite the disappointment, but now it's "all games at Xbox." We can expect to see "20 titles on stage."

One of the very first box arts for Xbox One has now been revealed and it's for Remedy Entertainment's time-manipulating Quantum Break. The Alan Wake developer blends live-action with gameplay to blow our minds.

We're told "each has a direct impact on the other" as we play. There's no info elsewhere about the new generation title, but Microsoft say it will lead the next-gen of "interactive entertainment".

Microsoft has announced a new action title from Alan Wake developer Remedy, Quantum Break. The teaser trailer warned "Time is the fire in which we burn", with a freighter jerking through time to shatter a bridge, and an unnamed man doing a pavement shattering ground pound.
