Red Faction: Battlegrounds is a fast-paced multiplayer-focused vehicular combat game in which fast-attack vehicles, heavy tanks and combat walkers wreak havoc above ground and beneath the surface of Mars. Staying true to the Red Faction universe, players can demolish anything that stands in their way, from military compounds to enemy vehicles, using advance Martian artillery and explosives.

| THQ's digital-only Red Faction: Battlegrounds is now doing the rounds on the US PlayStation Network and will be arriving on XBLA tomorrow.
The vehicular Battlegrounds has been accompanied by a launch trailer from THQ. It's meant to wet our appetite for Red Faction: Armageddon. |

| While it was already known that the release date of Red Faction: Battlegrounds would be April 5, Sony has released an email to PlayStation Network users stating that the game will cost $9.99; presumably the Xbox Live Arcade version will cost 800 Microsoft Points. |
