Rumour: Sony bid for Resident Evil 6 to be timed PS3 exclusive?
According to reports zipping around the place, Capcom is about to green light a Sony proposition that Resident Evil 6 will be PS3 exclusive for a time.
Back at Resi Evil 5's E3 debut it was revealed it could have been an Xbox 360 timed exclusive, but the deal never materialised. RE6 is a 'full reboot'.

Capcom producer Jun Takeuchi has commented that our industry is enjoying a "fun period," thanks to the breadth of choices out there for studios.
However it's also a "rough time for developers" as people "can't tell what you should be investing in" - no one has the answer. It's best not to have one?

In this second zombie/infected related teaser from Spike's upcoming VGA event, the finger of speculation now points toward Capcom and Resident Evil.
It features a Biohazard symbol which is Japan's name for the series, and the previous tease had zombie silhouettes, now spotted on Resi Evil t-shirts.

SOCOM developer Slant Six Games is allegedly full steam ahead on a new Resident Evil game subtitled Racoon City, and appears to be team-based.
At least that's what a leaked document suggests. Slant Six reveal they've got a "world class franchise" they're working on, while Capcom says 'no comment'.
