Capcom may very well be announcing Resident Evil 7 next month at E3 in California if an alleged promotional poster still in the design phase is to be believed. It's best you keep that rumour-mill salt lick nearby.

Again, if the poster is to be believed, then Resi Evil 7 has the tag 'The War Ends Now'. Of course this could all be some 12-year-old on a sugar high playing around with Photoshop.

The previous forecast for their end of year fiscal by Capcom has been more-or-less on the money (no pun intended). An profit of £19.42 million was posted, which is down 52% year-on-year.

Resident Evil 6 "did not meet" their expectations with sales at 4.9 million, falling short of the 7 million they hoped for. DmC: Devil May Cry enjoyed "stable popularity" overseas, with no total sales mentioned.

Publisher Capcom isn't as sure about overseas projects anymore as they announce cancellations of multiple projects with third-party studios, citing them as "no longer compatible with the current business strategy".

They explain to investors that £46m in restructuring costs are related to those cancellations, and that moving forward they want more digital content and more in-house development.

Freshly baked WHQL drivers have just come out of Nvidia, which they describe as an "essential update for all GeForce GTX systems." They claim a 41% performance boost for BioShock Infinite in some cases.

Then there's the 71% of extra muscle for Crystal Dynamics' Tomb Raider. The 314.22 WHQL drivers include SLI profiles for Resident Evil 6, Dungeons & Dragons: Neverwinter and Sniper Elite.

Producer Masachika Kawata is less 'enthusiastic' with taking Resident Evil in a more action-orientated direction after feedback from their latest instalments. Although he still believes it's generally right.

Operation Raccoon City, essentially a "pure shooter" set in the RE universe, would likely do better as a sequel if they 'brought back' a lot of horror. It would bring together elements "we need".
