Funcom has no 'concrete plans' for Age of Conan 360

Funcom has admitted that it has "no concrete plans" for the Xbox 360 version of their MMORPG Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures, which was announced years ago but has slipped into the status of vaporware.

The Montreal Gazette reports that Funcom's The Secret World, being distributed and marketed by EA, will be launching in a "few months" time.

EA is the "best partner we can have" said Funcom. They're leaving all marketing duties to them, while Funcom stick to the MMO's continued development.

Developer Funcom think "you can safely say" that MMO The Secret World will get a digital release as "very few MMOs" aren't available to download.

Exact details about a digital copy they will have to "announce later" said Erling Ellingsen. EA Partners picked up The Secret World; "makes perfect sense".

EA today announced that it's signed a deal with Funcom to co-publish The Secret World, a modern-day massively multiplayer online game for PC.

"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Funcom, one of the world-leaders in the development of massively multiplayer online games," says David DeMartini, Senior Vice President and General Manager of EA Partners.
