As we get closer to exploring and repeatedly butt-slamming Pandora's moon Elpis, 2K have just released a lengthy 9 minute introduction to Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel highlighting its features.

It's narrated by Sir Hammerlock and Mr. Torgue who give us a rundown of practically everything we'll be seeing, shooting and looting. The trailer is over 9 minutes of awesome.

The fifth and final DLC romp for DICE's Battlefield 4 is about to be dished on by EA as they plan a reveal today, with a short icy teaser given out in the meanwhile.

This intel blowout will arrive at 5.00PM BST (GMT + 1), with the last add-on due between October and December. That wraps up the Premium package for this series.

Metro's 4A Games after a more "sand-box-style experience - less linear"

Metro 2033 and Last Light developer 4A Games is looking to add more sandbox in their next game. Their designers want a "less linear but still hugely story-driven" title.

Chief technical officer Oles Shishkovstov from 4A Games wouldn't go into much detail but did reveal they're toying with new approaches to visuals as well, leaning more on physics.

2K Marin to continue "shepherding" BioShock franchise post-Irrational Games

Ken Levine's Irrational Games won't be leading the warped alternate reality of the BioShock universe any more, but Take-Two aren't letting the franchise sink to depths unknown. 2K Marin will be taking responsibility.

There's "a lot of upside" to BioShock, says CEO Strauss Zelnick, and it "hasn't necessarily been realized yet." 2K Marin was behind BioShock 2, a direct sequel.

Determined busybodies have been dissecting the latest Battlelog update from DICE and have discovered an acronym of interest lurking within the code. 'BFH' is the culprit, but no one is pointing at Battlefield Heroes.

Instead people are looking at 'Battlefield: Hardline', the supposed Police-themed spin-off in the works over at Visceral Games. The evidence begins with new icons.

Metro Redux announced by Deep Silver, "fully re-mastered" 2033 and Last Light

4A Games and Deep Silver have officially confirmed that Metro Redux is a thing, and that thing is a "fully re-mastered and improved" re-release of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light for PC, Xbox One and PS4.

They boast 60FPS on the consoles with "new and improved content and features" for all. It's "much more" than a HD tune-up, with 2033 rebuilt in Last Light's engine.

Turtle Rock's Evolve will be releasing October 21st, announces 2K Games

Left 4 Dead creator Turtle Rock is busy tinkering with genes in Evolve; the four versus one co-op shooter that's due this year. 2K Games has officially dated it for October 21st.

In Evolve four players must hunt down an evolving monster that's also player controlled. If they let the monster grow too big and powerful, then the hunters will become the hunted.

Ubisoft leaks minor story details about Far Cry 4

Are we another thrill-seeker parachuting out a plane with family and friends in Ubisoft's Far Cry 4? No, we'll be fulfilling our "mother's dying wish," when we get caught up in a civil war to overthrow a dictator.

This piece of information was leaked by Ubisoft when they updated Uplay, and the game's director confirms the pink suited guy on the cover is not the player character.

The pre-order DLC Hunt the Grey Wolf for Sniper Elite 3 has just received a trailer. The Allies code named Hitler 'Grey Wolf' and he and his double are visiting Tobruk in 1942.

To line up for the kill we'll need to infiltrate ancient crumbling streets and rooftops. The real target is randomised each playthrough in this open environment of Tobruk.

Ubisoft announces Far Cry 4, set in the Himalayas and due this November

It's official as Ubisoft screams from atop the Himalayas that Far Cry 4 is on the way and due out this November. It's set for PC and consoles with five Ubisoft development studios collaborating on the project.

We're dumped in Kyrat, a "breathtaking, perilous and wild region" in the Himalayas that's under the rule of a despotic king. A first look of Far Cry 4 will be at Ubisoft's E3 briefing.

The launch trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order has been unleashed by the Bethesda war machine as we gear up to fight with the resistance in an alternate 1960s world next week, May 20th.

It's almost 3 minutes worth of pure tease and it doesn't disappoint. Developer MachineGames seems to have put together the ultimate tribute to the legendary PC series.

4A Games developing "unannounced projects" within Metro franchise

More Metro is on the way from 4A Games as the studio announces a new office in Malta. Already they're developing Metro: Redux for Xbox One and PS4 but more is underway it would seem.

They also tease other unannounced projects not to do with the Metro IP. With E3 just around the corner hopefully the studio will be more forthcoming with new projects in the works.

Bethesda and MachineGames' Wolfenstein: The New Order is a single player game, with a run-through worth about 20 hours according to creative director Jens Matthies. You might just make that run-through again.

Apparently an early choice "opens up an alternate timeline" which changes the vibe of the campaign, so there's "lots of incentive" to make that second run-through.

Almost 5 minutes of video has been released by developer Rebellion giving us new gameplay footage of Sniper Elite 3. They deliver it in the style of a briefing, divulging our mission to take out 'wonder weapons'.

It's full of teasing shots and emphasises our objectives "can be tackled in any order." Wind, gravity and our heart beat affect the flight of our shots. "One bullet can change history."

Techland's fantasy dungeon-crawler Hellraid 'upgraded', Early Access later in 2014

Dead Island's Techland has re-announced Hellraid for PC, Xbox One and PS4 as their previous version of the game is scrapped as they move away from Xbox 360 and PS3. The studio has redesigned the dungeon crawler.

Its four character classes have been merged into one, which all powers now accessible. Hellraid is now also using Chrome Engine 6, the same engine behind Techland's Dying Light.

DICE's server update for Battlefield 4 addresses 'Death Shield' bug

A server update for Battlefield 4 has addressed the not-so-long-ago discovered 'Death Shield' bug which could stop bullets, grenades and other projectiles from crossing over a fallen soldier awaiting revival.

This fix comes as DICE launch their Rent-A-Server program for consoles, which has already suffered fault for Xbox One and have "temporarily removed the feature". You may now eye-roll.

An all-new vehicle killcam will debut alongside the much improved regular killcam for squishy meatbags. Rebellion also toured the UK's Bovington Museum to better render tanks.

Bethesda has released a new trailer for Wolfenstein: The New Order which looks at the differences between stealthy approaches and outright mayhem as BJ Blazkowicz in an early chapter of the game.

It explores the alternate paths we can choose as we fight for resistance forces in this first-person shooter in the 1960s. This new gameplay footage is just a few minutes long.

Rubberbanding issues "mostly gone" from Battlefield 4 following server upgrades

DICE has confirmed that a server hardware upgrade for Battlefield 4 is the reason behind the sudden drop in rubberbanding issues. As hardware changes aren't software related technically, no changelog was produced.

While not entirely extinct, the rubberbanding menace has been largely squashed. The confirmation of a hardware upgrade came from a Battlelog producer on Reddit.

The second part of Bethesda's Twitch stream for Wolfenstein: The New Order will be airing today from 2.00PM EST. Bethesda and MachineGames gave us 30-minute playthrough last week.

Wolfenstein: The New Order releases on PC, Xbox 360, PS3, Xbox One and PS4 May 20th. The first Twitch stream is still available to pick through on the official Twitch channel.
