Sonic comes to life and goes up against such foes as Metal Sonic, the evil hedgehog created by Dr. Robotnik. Sonic must collect all the Time Stones from The Little Planet before Dr. Robotnik can bend time and take over the world. Through more than 50 levels, Sonic can travel through time and explore the past, the present, and the future. QSound technology provides for amazing sound along with great graphics and an opening "mini-cartoon."

| Larry "Major Nelson" Hryb has outlined what to expect in Microsoft's PAX Prime booth, which will feature Trials Evolution, Skulls of the Shogun, Crimson Alliance, Splatters, Orcs Must Die, Ms. Splosion Man, Retro City Rampage, War of the Worlds, and Trine 2. One of the unexpected titles, however, was the previously unannounced Sonic CD, which is the enhanced version of Sonic the Hedgehog that was released for Sega Genesis CD and PC back in 1996. |
