The upcoming free Earth multiplayer downloadable content for Mass Effect 3 highlights the upcoming Xbox Live Marketplace content revealed by Major Nelson's blog.

Other notable offerings includes a Bethesda DLC sale with content for Oblivion and Fallout 3 at 50% off, followed by a half-off sale for Ubisoft games. The Summer of Arcade proceedings start with the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD on the 18th July as well.

Major Nelson has released a list of content for the upcoming week of Xbox Live Arcade, including four Xbox Live Arcade titles, one of which is the long awaited platformer Fez. The major Games on Demand being offered include EA Sports' hot FIFA 12.

The hot deals for the week include SNK's King of Fighters and Metal Slug games, while the following week's discounts focus on Call of Duty: World at War and some Modern Warfare items.

SpikySnail Games has announced that their indie Xbox Live Arcade game, The Splatters, will be launching on the 11th April. The bizarre, colorful action-puzzle game will cost 800 Microsoft Points ($10 USD).

The game uses realistic liquid physics as the player must fling squishy Splatters to solve puzzles over the course of 69 levels. With the Splatter TV feature, gamers can share videos with each other, showing off their own gooey combos.
