A surprisingly expressionistic live-action trailer was released for publisher Capcom and developer From Software's Kinect mech sim Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor.

A demo for Capcom's Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor is now available for consumption via Xbox Live, which is the publisher's upcoming Kinect-based mech shooter set in a WWII style.

Kinect gestures and the traditional Xbox 360 controller work together as players control their mechs and lay waste to other mechs, and fox holed troops. Capcom say it's really accurate.

From Software made the teeth-grindingly difficult Dark Souls, and the developer is warning gamers not to expect any mercy from Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor, the sequel to the Xbox mech simulation.

To celebrate the exclusive Xbox 360 release of Steel Battalion: Heavy Armor from Capcom they've collaborated with Mamoru Oshii, an "award winning director" behind Avalon.

Oshii-san was also responsible for Ghost in the Shell. This live-action movie focuses on Polish Vertical Tank pilot Gosha, in command of her own VT squad. It'll release before the game.
