Capcom doubt Street Fighter could ever mix with Morta... (1)
While fans of Street Fighter and Tekken have games from Capcom and Namco Bandai crossing over the universes, what about the Mortal Kombat crowd?

Capcom producer Yoshinori Ono doubts it could ever happen, though he understands "why people want it." It's one of those things "easier said than done."

Capcom's long-term brawler "road map" includes Rival ... (1)
During an 'Ask Capcom' session a fan of 1997's Rival Schools put it to the group if the publisher will ever be resurrecting the age old fighting franchise.

It got a PSOne update in Japan that included a life simulator alongside the action. Frankly even Capcom "never know what franchises" will make a return.

Street Fighter IV series ends in June (2)
The Arcade Edition of Street Fighter IV will bring the series to a close, Capcom fighting game guru Seth Killian announced. According to Killian, "The plan is this is the end of Street Fighter IV. Arcade Edition will be the end of Street Fighter IV. What comes next? We'll see. But we aren't planning any more Street Fighter IVs."

Capcom announced today at Captivate 2011 the launch of the Arcade Edition as a retail disc release and as downloadable content.
