Uncharted: Golden Abyss enters UK chart number one

Sony's PlayStation Vita has arrived in the UK and claimed 1st and 2nd place in the all format chart with Uncharted: Golden Abyss and FIFA Football. The WiFi version claimed 79% of launch sales.
Rayman Origins is catapulted back up the ladder from 36th to 5th thanks to a Vita re-release. The two chart toppers made up 50% of UK game sales last week. EA's Syndicate entered 7th.

Syndicate co-op play suffering freezing issues on 360

It seems that the Xbox 360 version of Syndicate is suffering freezing issues during online co-op. Electronic Arts has told the press it is aware of the issue and working on a fix.
Starbreeze releases 25 after Syndicate completion

Swedish developer Starbreeze has announced it is dropping 25 jobs following the completion of Syndicate. The shooter reboot of the 1993 tactical strategy game will be released this coming week.
