Actor Zachary Levi presents Tomb Raider: The Final Hours

Crystal Dynamics' have partnered up with GT TV's Geoff Keighley to produce a Final Hours series for Tomb Raider, but it's not Keighley himself that presents the behind-the-scenes look.

That honour goes to Chuck star Zachary Levi, who's an avid gamer, and the first episode of The Final Hours is already live. Levi interviews new Lara Croft actress Camilla Luddington.

Lara Croft actress Camilla Luddington has revealed in a behind-the-scenes documentary, starring actor and gamer Zachary Levi, that playing Lady Croft is no stroll in the park.

There's a lot more crying involved than she thought, for one. Luddington believed she'd just be "kicking butt," as we're used to seeing Lara as "cold-hearted, almost a killer."

There's something new cooking at Crystal Dynamics as the studio starts "from scratch" where they "don't already have a finger in that particular pool," says executive producer Scot Amos.

As everyone is looking for what's "going to be happening next" it's an opportune moment to try something new. Crystal are wary of not going "too far away" from gamer comfort zones.

Tomb Raider house Crystal Dynamics has some new property it's working on and a job ad on the studio's website confirms it's a next-gen project coming to "future platforms".

Back in January the dev confirmed it had a new IP, and even suggested we could see something off it this year as they suggested 2012 was "going to be the biggest" yet.
