The upcoming free Earth multiplayer downloadable content for Mass Effect 3 highlights the upcoming Xbox Live Marketplace content revealed by Major Nelson's blog.

Other notable offerings includes a Bethesda DLC sale with content for Oblivion and Fallout 3 at 50% off, followed by a half-off sale for Ubisoft games. The Summer of Arcade proceedings start with the release of Tony Hawk's Pro Skater HD on the 18th July as well.

Developer Signal Studios has announced that the Xbox Live Arcade hit Toy Soldiers will be hitting PC today on Windows Live Marketplace and Steam, and will run gamers $9.99 USD. Toy Soldiers had been scheduled to land on PC last Summer 2011 but suffered an extensive delay. The PC version will include all of the DLC released for the game including The Kaiser's Battle and Invasion!

It's August and that means a fresh schedule for the Xbox Live Marketplace needs to have its beans spilled. Releasing today on XBLA is Fruit Ninja Kinect.

Driver: San Francisco launches its demo on Xbox Live as does Madden NFL 12. Toy Soldiers: Cold War releases on Xbox Live Arcade August 17th.

Signal Studios has announced a sequel to their popular Xbox Live Arcade action tower defense game, Toy Soldiers. The new game will take place in the 1980's, and is called Toy Soldiers: Cold War, and will be playable at PAX East this weekend in Boston.
