The Walking Dead has been a tremendous success for Telltale Games, with season two just now entering the concept phase at the studio, reveals CEO and co-founder Dan Connors.

The developer was founded by former LucasArts talent, which is why Sam & Max and Monkey Island were among their ambitions. Connors would love a crack at Star Wars, or even Halo.

Telltale Games has announced that a disc-based version of The Walking Dead will be available in North America by December 4th, meaning all episodes would have released by then.

European gamers aren't given a time frame just yet but at least fans of the adventure series now know they won't have to wait until Christmas for the final episode of season one.

Telltale Games' Episode 2 for The Walking Dead will be arriving for fans to enjoy "around the end of June", reveals the developer. There is no firm date set yet for the next instalment.

It's still undergoing certification. Three months have passed for the group when we next hook up with them. In all there will be five episodes and our decisions always carry over.

Telltale Games has announced that the first episode of their new licensed adventure game series, The Walking Dead, was wildly successful, selling over 1M copies over three platforms in just two weeks. The first episode, A New Day, was the best selling game on Xbox Live Arcade during that time, while also hitting the top spot on Steam and PlayStation Network as well.
