Back in May, 2K Games announced the North American release date for XCOM: Enemy Unknown for the 9th October. The publisher has now confirmed that the European release will be on the 12th October.

Firaxis Games' excellent looking XCOM: Enemy Unknown is coming to Xbox 360, PS3 and PC October 9th in US and 12th in Europe. There's also a pre-order bonus at retail giving us the Elite Soldier Pack.
That DLC gives us a classic XCOM soldier. There's also Deco packs which let us customise soldier armour with "several aesthetic upgrades" and colours. PC gets a special edition.
