Ubisoft's SVP of sales and marketing, Tony Key, says we're "all toying with" Kinect functionality in core titles as studios ask "how does it really improve"?

Right now it just provides "extra things" like Ghost Recon's gunsmith mode. It's a "tall order to actually improve" shooters with Kinect, because they're "so fine-tuned".

Ubisoft has announced a partnership with sports drink goliath Gatorade, who will have produced some new free DLC for the Kinect-powered fitness software Your Shape: Fitness Evolved. The new DLC uses the workout regimen used by celebrity-trainer Gunnar Peterson, called G Series FIT.

Today's chest-thumping is brought to you by Ubisoft. They set out to be Kinect's number 1 third-party fan and "it worked," declares Ubi boss Laurent Detoc.

The publisher intends to dominate Kinect in 2011 too by releasing the "most innovative offerings" on the platform, like 'Michael Jackson The Experience'.

Ubisoft has announced that it will be releasing two new programs as DLC for Your Shape Fitness Evolved over Xbox Live today:

- The "Toned Body Program", to strengthen all your muscles and get a firmer body.
- "Cardio Boxing Platinum", a new advanced level of the Cardio-Boxing class.
